High-school journalists provide behind-the-scenes look at news production

Video launches School News Network partnership with Falcon News Network

The Falcon News Network crew brings school news to East Kentwood with twice-weekly broadcasts. Here is a video produced by FNN about their work.

Kentwood — A crew of young journalists at East Kentwood High School is covering the news, events and day-to-day happenings of student life.

Falcon News Network, the award-winning student broadcasting class,  produces a seven-minute broadcast that airs in school on Wednesdays and Fridays. Students cover stories about students, teachers, current events and community happenings. They also cover sports and stories on issues affecting education.

To showcase the work of these journalists, School News Network is launching a partnership with FNN. In our Student Voices section, we will regularly post their videos.

To start, here is a behind-the-scenes look at what students create and are learning at FNN, produced by the student crew.
