Dogs on a Dash

Byron Center elementary and Nickels Intermediate School students worked their way up to finishing a 3.1 mile run this spring. More Student Maddy Joseph keeps her stride than 500 students trained in the after-school 10-week running program Dynamite Dogs, which recently wrapped up with the 5K race.

The program, designed to teach and greet social, physical, and mental health, involved 514 students.
