How an unexpected turn in salmon project led to valuable life lessons

The school year is ending and projects at all grade levels are wrapping up. For some fourth-graders in Forest Hills, one didn’t conclude exactly as planned … but that only turned the learning in a new direction for a classroom and teacher determined to make the best of a year of unexpected events.
