Caledonia – Young Fives students at Dutton Lake Early Childhood Center were mesmerized by the springtime activity of hatching chicks and ducklings in the classroom. Along with witnessing the hatching, they learned about the baby birds, how to handle them gently and enjoyed many related activities involving, science, reading and art.
