Students cap school year with ‘super-fun’ camping expedition

Grand Rapids – No Google Maps, no cell phones, and no adults pitching their tents … just Zoo School sixth-graders working together and problem-solving to sleep outside for four nights at YMCA Camp Pendalouan and navigate the White River by canoe. The end-of-school trip capped a year of outdoor learning, confidence building and preparation for students of the popular Grand Rapids Public Schools program.
