Northview — School picture day is an annual rite of passage for all elementary students. School News Network photojournalist Dianne Carroll Burdick captured these behind-the-scenes shots recently at East Oakview Elementary while Geskus Photography took the official versions.

Dianne Carroll Burdick has worked as a photojournalist in the West Michigan area since 1991.
