All Districts — School News Network is pleased to announce a new partnership with a local newspaper that will allow more families the opportunity to read what is happening inside local classrooms.
School News Network has partnered with El Vocero Hispano, a Grand Rapids-based Hispanic newspaper, which will translate some SNN stories to Spanish, providing more families the access to articles in their native language. Links to the translated stories will be added on SNN articles shared through the partnership.
The newspaper recently debuted this partnership with this story about a Godwin Heights student and soccer player.
El Vocero Hispano, founded in 1993, covers local news, education and businesses, among other topics. The publication also reports on local sports, including those within our school districts. Because of this, School News Network will also translate their school-related sports articles into English to run on SNN, opening another window into our schools for more readers.
