GRAM to host Harvard University researchers for education event

Education Everywhere — Educators and educational leaders who are interested in using creativity in their teaching and want to develop more critical thinkers in their students are invited to join the Grand Rapids Art Museum for a one-night event on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Harvard University’s Project Zero researchers Flossie Chua and David Perkins will explore with participants the importance of developing learning that fosters creativity, imaginative thinking and critical thinking. Project Zero has been researching the importance of the arts in education for more than 50 years.

Tickets are $25 and the event includes breakout sessions, networking and a Q & A session with Chua and Perkins. State Continuing Education Clock Hours are available and space is limited.
