Sparta Middle School students share what they’re most excited to learn this year

Sparta — As the 2024-25 academic year gets underway for students in Kent County, School News Network is visiting several area schools to see what kids are excited about learning in the year ahead.

At Sparta Middle School, sixth-grader Taylor DeBoer, seventh-grader Miles Kohn and eighth-grader Natalie Wood took a break from their busy first week back to talk about what they’re looking forward to learning most. 

Taylor is ready to face the challenge of her accelerated math program, Miles is hoping to up his history expertise, and Natalie is stoked about science.
