What do you want to learn? Zinser students weigh in

Zinser Elementary fourth-grader Tyrone Johnson (not pictured here) and fifth-graders Corinne Sobie and Brynnley Willick are looking forward to learning in a new school year

Kenowa Hills — It felt like a fall morning on the first day for Kenowa Hills Public Schools.

At Zinser Elementary, students gave goodbye hugs to family members, entered their building wearing first-day outfits and smiles and found their new classrooms and teachers.

As summer ends and a new school year begins, School News Network is visiting districts to see what students are excited to learn in their new grades.

Fourth-grader Tyrone Johnson said he was most excited to practice his creative problem-solving skills while learning math in Jennifer Sullivan’s class. Fifth-graders Corinne Sobie and Brynnley Willick said they’re both looking forward to writing and the “Famous American” project.
