Four Wyoming-area high school bands set to perform

Multiple Districts — Four high school bands from the Wyoming area will come together for a special performance at 1 p.m. Sept. 14 at Wyoming High School, 1350 Prairie Parkway SW.

Participating bands are Wyoming, Godwin Heights, Godfrey-Lee and Kelloggsville. During the free event, which is open to the public, each band will play its 2024 halftime show.

“The goal of the event is to share our shows with the other Wyoming schools and to get to know each other a little bit,” said Luke Marlowe, the band director at Godwin Heights High School. “Despite being down the street from each other, we don’t compete in the same division, so it’s nice to see everyone’s hard work and support each other.”
