Grandville — “It’s OK to feel angry, and it’s OK to feel all the emotions you feel, but also I would try to let yourself forgive, more than anything. … I made my life so much harder being angry instead of trying to move past it and heal.”
In this episode of “The Suburban” podcast, Grandville High School senior McCaylee shares with teacher Mike Cox what it was like to lose her father at a young age. As new details about her dad’s passing were revealed to her as a teenager, she had to reconcile the reality of his death with the memory of his role in her life. It’s a beautiful story of family, loss, forgiveness and gratitude.
