Community input sought in district superintendent search

Thornapple Kellogg — The Board of Education is beginning its search for Thornapple Kellogg’s new superintendent with a survey to engage the community’s input.

The online survey is available until midnight February 9 and all input will be collected anonymously.

The results will help the board understand what skills, abilities and characteristics TK stakeholders believe the next superintendent should possess to successfully serve the district.

The board will receive assistance during the search process from the Michigan Leadership Institute, facilitated by MLI search consultant Andy Ingall.

Tom Enslen is currently serving as interim superintendent for the district, following Craig McCarthy’s retirement on Dec. 31, 2024.
