Rockford — The John Ball Zoo Travel Zoo and its furry and scaly creatures stopped by Lakes Elementary, giving fourth-graders a chance to meet and learn about the unique animals.
For students, who had already spent time at the zoo for a week learning alongside zookeepers, it was a “full circle piece” to the experience.
